Hockey season is finally back, and the Capitals open their regular season with a banner raising against the Boston Bruins.
Naturally, the question of whether or not the Caps will face a Stanley Cup hangover season — or just a legit hangover since they gallivanted across DC and did things like swimming in fountains — has made its way to the front page of the Washington Post’s Express paper.

Today's cover: Can the @Capitals avoid a hangover? They won big in Las Vegas and partied hard with the Stanley Cup all summer, but now Washington’s champs are back to business and focused on repeating. #ALLCAPS pic.twitter.com/FqxWqJUgIv

The photo makes reference to the movie The Hangover which is about three friends who attend a bachelor party and then lose the groom after a raucous night in Vegas.
The Washington Post also took a more serious tone in their Wednesday paper with a Caps preview section from Toni Sandys and Brianna Schroer and a sports front page featuring Alex Ovechkin.
Go grab a paper copy, you won’t regret it.
