Capitals defenseman John Carlson and third line center Lars Eller both missed the first few days of Training Camp due to lower-body injuries.
Monday morning, both returned to the ice.
Lars Eller and John Carlson (lower-body) are both practicing today. We'll ask Todd Reirden later how they're doing. #Capitals

When Eller spoke with the press after his training session, he explained that the injury was something “caused by myself, sort of,” and the injury also prevented him from getting on the ice when he usually would.
Carlson’s ice slot was later in the day, and he stayed on ice for the entire session.
