Chandler Stephenson is promoting healthy donuts

Chandler Stephenson’s sweet tooth has been well documented on his Instagram. He’s posted about crepes and cakes, but now, Stephenson has moved on to donuts.

The sponsor, The Sweet Tooth Inc., is based in Stephenson’s hometown of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Their goal is to “create a healthier lifestyle while still enjoying all of the sweets and treats that our cravings desire,” according to their website.

Sweet Tooth accomplishes this by substituting sugar, all-purpose and cake flour, milk, and eggs with substitutes like coconut and almond flour, almond milk, stevia, egg whites, pumpkin, and whey protein isolate. Mmm, delicious!

Stephenson isn’t the only NHLer sponsoring the company. Taylor Leier of the Philadelphia Flyers and Nelson Nogier of the Winnipeg Jets, both Saskatchewan natives, have also nommed on the healthy donuts.
