Capitals forward Nathan Walker made his long way back to America to prepare for training camp Sunday night.
He posted a quick pre-flight moment on his Instagram story.
Walker’s nutritionist Karen Taylor recently wished him good luck for the upcoming season before he left Australia.

Walker is the first Australian NHLer to play in a regular season game, score a goal, play in a post-season game, and recorded an assist on this crucial Alex Chiasson goal against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the playoffs.
The Aussie, who got married over the offseason, is looking to snag one of the open wing slots on the fourth line. Washington’s training camp schedule will be released in September. During past years, the forward’s crashed at Braden Holtby’s house.
