On Sunday, Capitals assistant GM Ross Mahoney had his day with the Stanley Cup. Along with scout Darrell Baumgartner, they visited the Royal Regina Golf Club, in Regina, Saskatchewan, to share their time with Capitals fans.
The keeper of the Cup, Philip Pritchard, shared a photograph of Mahoney and Baumgartner at the golf club, as their day unfolded.

The Royal Regina Golf Club wasn’t Mahoney’s only stop of the day. He also swung by the Regina YMCA, where more Caps fans had the opportunity to bask in the Stanley Cup glory.

Mahoney, an alumni of the University of Regina, also took the Cup to visit his former team. He played four years of hockey with the Cougars, and helped lead them to two national finals.
