After spending the first part of his day in Warroad, TJ Oshie flew to Minneapolis and concluded his Stanley Cup day with a private party.
He invited two Caps rookies for the celebration: Shane Gersich and Travis Boyd.
Gersich became the latest Capital to do a Cup stand.
Other than getting his salad wet, Gersich had good form.
Alex Ovechkin first made the move famous during a viral party at the Georgetown Waterfront, which also featured a fountain celebration. Ovechkin held Jimmy Fallon up for a drink during a Late Night appearance. Ovechkin also helped Evgeny Kuznetsov and Dmitry Orlov perform the party trick in Russia during his day with the Cup.
