Braden Holtby made arguably the biggest save in Capitals history during Game Two of the Stanley Cup Final. Holtby robbed a wide open Alex Tuch with the shaft of his stick. NBCSN’s Pierre McGuire dubbed it “The Save.”
Since that fateful night, the moment has been turned into a flip book. Now it has been turned into officially licensed merchandise.
First, I need to show you this “The Save” bobblehead by FOCO (Fans Only Company).
The bobblehead features a ceramic version of Holtby making his historic stop. Bobble Braden, who has no mask on and seems very happy by this fact, looks more like a gregarious computer programmer than the real-life scowling goaltender he actually is. But who cares, this is amazing, I’m buying four.
The bobblehead is available for preorder on Sports Fan Island and will ship in October – just in time for the start of the next season.
Fanatics is also selling a variety of Holtby The Save items. Two weeks after the Caps won the Stanley Cup, the Holtbeast signed photos of the momentum-changing stop.

The 8×10 version is available here.
Fanatics is also offering a signed plaque that actually features game-used net from Game Two when Holtby made the big save.
There are also The Save shirts available too.
