As the Capitals stopped by Nationals Park to show off their new shiny trophy and have their captain throw out the ceremonial first and second pitches, they also did some quick media.
Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, and John Carlson did said media and Backstrom uttered quite the familiar phrase about Ovechkin’s continued partying since Thursday night.
For these three, the party has not stopped. Just listen to this exchange. 😂 #ALLCAPS pic.twitter.com/AJVLCkvITK

Backstrom, as he is wont to do, uttered the phrase that Ovechkin once said in his younger years that is also the namesake for this great site. “Russian Machine Never Breaks” said the Swede about his captain’s will to keep the party going.
Carlson was a little less impressed at Ovi’s celebration durability. “He’s breaking”, the defenseman joked.
Well Ovi, if there were any time to take a break from never breaking, it’s right now.
