Tickets to a potential Game Six of the 2018 Stanley Cup Final are the most expensive in NHL history

The Stanley Cup will be at T-Mobile Arena Thursday night as the Washington Capitals try to close out the Vegas Golden Knights in five games.

If the Caps lose and the series gets extended, Game Six at Capital One Arena will be the most expensive game to get into in NHL history.

According to TicketIQ, the ticket price for Game Six was listed as $1,950 on June 5, a 77% increase since June 1. As of 10:30 AM on June 6, the cheapest ticket on resale sites was $1,650.

This is the most expensive game since the 2011 Stanley Cup Final Game Seven in Vancouver. Tickets for that event were priced about 25% less.

Meanwhile in Vegas, Thursday’s Game Five tickets dropped by over half their original listed price with entry as low as $750.
