Alex Ovechkin has given the Caps the lead with a power-play goal in the second period. It was nice and good.

Nicklas Backstrom, power play magician, organized the play from the other side of the slot. Finding his chance, Backstrom passed to Eller, low, who then sent it to Ovechkin, a good eight feet south of his normal Ovi Spot.
Here’s another look.
That’s lucky goal number 13 for Ovechkin this postseason, so he should maybe play some roulette after the game. I’m thinking put it all on red.
