The top line buzzed around the net, but Fleury seemed to have the puck covered. Tom Wilson remained up in the goalie’s face, and I guess that presence was enough to mindfuck Fleury into making a mistake. Pulling his skate back, Fleury kicked the puck into his own net.
The lead was immediately lost as Ryan Reaves got a one-timer from the paint.
