The Washington Capitals’ first Stanley Cup Finals game in 20 years will be Monday night in Las Vegas.
Friday, the Caps announced that fans will be able to help send our heroes off in style, hosting a Stanley Cup Final Sendoff at the team’s practice facility, Kettler Capitals Iceplex, on Saturday morning.
The sendoff will take place around noon, after the Caps’ scheduled practice at 10:30 a.m. Specific details of the event are unknown at this time, but expect a lot of screaming and a whole lotta Caps Red.

The Washington Capitals will host a Stanley Cup Final Sendoff featuring the 2017-18 Capitals team at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on Saturday, May 26.
Practice is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., with players beginning to exit the building in front of fans on their way to Las Vegas at approximately noon.
The 8th floor parking deck will be closed. Fans are encouraged to take the metro (Ballston-MU station) and access the facility from the elevators and stairwell located on Glebe and Randolph.
