Evgeny Kuznetsov is tearing it up in the postseason so the Capitals’ Mike Vogel spoke to the Russian pivot after the team’s morning skate Saturday.
I’m sure, like always, there were lots of intelligent things said ahead of a pivotal Game Five, but all I could pay attention to was Tom Wilson’s signing.

Saturday was Kuznetsov’s 26th birthday. So to celebrate, Wilson began singing “Happy Birthday” as he came into the locker room.
Come on, Tom. There is a very important interview going on here and you are ruining it!
This may explain why Tom gets his head shoved in a cake during his birthday.
