The Vegas Golden Knights have a pregame ceremony that is second to none. Featuring a super-intense, sword-wielding knight and some Tron-esque drummers, the VGK entertainment crew turns down the lights, amps up the volume, and does some Medieval Times-esque story-telling.
It’s cheesy and overwrought, but I can’t get enough of it.
Wednesday for Game Three of the Western Conference Final, the Vegas Golden Knight got in a sword fight and had a harrowing battle with a jet.
The ceremony was five minutes long and recapped the expansion team’s road to the Final Two in the West.
And then there was a fight! Uh oh.
THE GOLDEN KNIGHT WANTS A PIECE.
BOOM.
I love it.
The Golden Knights also gave away rally towels to their fans featuring an illustration of their mascot Chance.
The rally towels are already in place here at T-Mobile Arena. Going to be a rocking place here tonight. pic.twitter.com/xHzKoxy9Cb

Several Elvis impersonators sat along the glass.

What a fun place for hockey. Now please go enjoy Vegas’s previous two opening ceremonies from this year’s postseason.
