Barry Trotz stands pat on lines heading into Game Two

The Washington Capitals were given a day off on Friday after falling to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game One 3-2.

The Capitals took to the ice again on Saturday morning. Barry Trotz had no changes in his lines or pairings. Before Thursday, the Capitals had won four straight games against the Columbus Blue Jackets, outscoring CBJ 17 to 9.

Trotz lamented during a phone interview with the press that on all of the Penguins goals, his team was in good defensive position.

Other practice notes include TJ Oshie taking the ice for a morning skate for the first time in weeks. Oshie had previously been resting an injury during the day and only playing in games.

Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky did not skate and is out week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

Game Two is Sunday at 3 PM.
