After the five players on the ice dislodged Backstrom’s helmet, Alex Ovechkin makes his way to the Caps center and that’s where this video picks up.
In the hockey mosh pit, Ovechkin can be seen screaming happy things towards Nicky as other places pat the Swede on the head for scoring.
This is chaos. This is a dangerous hug. This is happy hockey at its best.
