The Alex Ovechkin is intensifying.
After nearly jumping out of the rink to celebrate TJ Oshie’s second period power-play goal, Ovechkin scored himself in the third and his celebration was epic.
Ovi went to one knee and did a modified Frank The Tank celly.

After taking a pass from Evgeny Kuznetsov, Ovechkin gathered the puck in, put it on his forehand, and fired it past Sergei Bobrovsky.
It was Ovechkin’s third goal of the series. He has six points in his last three games (3 goals, 3 assists) and four in the last two in Columbus (1 goal, 3 assists).
He was fired up.
And debuted a new celly.
The celebration appeared to be inspired by a scene from Old School featuring Will Ferrel as Frank The Tank.
Let’s not wait until this man’s career is over. Put this man in the Hall of Fame right now.
