During the Caps-Devils game, Keith Kinkaid sat in the nosebleeds with his Chipotle-date girlfriend

Devils starting goaltender Keith Kinkaid is a different cat, and Saturday he showed once again just how down to earth he is.

With a playoff spot already clinched, Devils coach John Hynes decided to sit star forward Taylor Hall and Kinkaid for New Jersey’s final regular season game against the Capitals.

How did Kinkaid spend his evening? Well, you’ll have to see it to believe it.

According to RMNB reader Lindsay, Kinkaid sat in the upper deck of Capital One Arena with his apparent girlfriend Taylor Acorn. With Eddie Lack called up to be the backup, Kinkaid hung out in the nosebleeds.

Kinkaid was also captured by RMNB crasher Julie Ann wandering around the upper-level concourse.

Kinkaid sitting with Taylor Acorn is significant because the two recently met via social media. Acorn, a fan, asked how many RTs it would take to go out on a date.

Kinkaid responded with a date request.

A week later that Chipotle date actually happened.

Usually players that are scratched spend the game in the press box or in the gym working out.

But not Kinkaid. He enjoyed the game like a fan.
