Andre Burakovsky just scored his 11th goal of the season and it was a beauty.
The tally gave the Capitals a 3-1 lead in the second period.

After taking a pass from Nicklas Backstrom in the neutral zone, Burakovsky walked Blues defenseman Vince Dunn. Burakovsky faked going inside before throwing the puck off his skate and skating around Dunn on the outside. The Swedish forward beat Jake Allen clean for one of the most beautiful goals of the Caps season.
NBC Sports Washington analyst Craig Laughlin called the move a “jockstrapper.”
At the bench, Burakovsky smiled as his teammates teased and fist bumped him.
“I’m trying to get it inside, and then I saw [the defenseman] gave me the outside,” Burakovsky said at intermission. “It just happened so quick. It wasn’t real thinking. I was just trying to get the puck around him. Yeah. Obviously it worked out pretty good.”
Per the Capitals PR, the goal was Burkie’s second point in his last two games and his fifth in his last six games (2g, 3a).
