TJ Oshie suffered a lower-body injury and was unable to finish Friday night’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
After being declared day-to-day Saturday, Oshie ended up taking the Caps morning skate on Sunday and played later that night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Well, now I’m here to say Oshie looks just fine. How I know? He scored the game’s first goal and looked sensational while doing so.

After John Carlson broke out behind the Caps net, the Caps defenseman found Andre Burakovsky in the neutral zone. Burkie darted around several Penguins players before lobbing a puck to a streaking Oshie.
Oshie fired the puck through Matt Murray’s five hole for his sixth goal in his last 10 games.
After enduring a 19-game goalless streak earlier in the season, Oshie now has 18 goals. He only needs two goals in his next three games to hit the 20-goal mark for the three-straight season.
