Wednesday morning, the Evgeny Kuznetsov charm offensive continued.
After practice, Kuznetsov recorded a birthday greeting for 13-year-old Emily, a Caps fan. There was just one tiny catch.
@TJOshie77 @Kuzya92 @Capitals Who is the real TJ Oshie? 😜🤩 Thx for making Emily's 13th bday extra special 🙌🏻 #foreverfans #favoriteteam #classacts #Capitals pic.twitter.com/y5jlWCHs8C

“Hey, Emily. This is TJ Oshie,” Kuznetsov said in his heavy Russian accent. “I wish you a happy birthday. I wish you all the best. Stay healthy.”
Kuznetsov was either told Emily was a big TJ Oshie fan or he felt like messing around and saying he was TJ Oshie in the video.
NBC Sports Washington’s Tarik El-Bashir can be heard guffawing in the background.
Wednesday marked Kuznetsov’s grand return to practice after suffering a left arm injury. Clearly he was in a good mood.
