Alex Ovechkin is being featured on the cover of yet another magazine. This time he’s landed on March 2018’s edition of Men’s Health Magazine Russia.
Thursday, Men’s Health released a preview for their upcoming issue.

On the cover, Ovechkin is posing casually with a kettlebell and sporting his usual trademark grin. There will also be an article inside the issue.
“Ovechkin: on [his] dislike for chinups,” the caption says, as translated by Graham Dumas. We certainly can’t disagree with that. If anyone says they like chinups, they’re probably lying.
Of course, the Russian machine is no stranger to this particular publication.
Ovechkin was featured on the cover of Men’s Health Russia back in October 2016. In that issue, they highlighted some of the Great 8’s biggest achievements since joining the Capitals, as well as celebrated his 32nd birthday. It was the first time he’d appeared on the cover of Men’s Health since 2009.

The Capitals’ captain has also graced the cover of publications like ProSport, Esquire, Forbes, and Hello!. We can only imagine what cover that grin will land him on next.
