Before the opening puck drop between the Blues and Capitals, things got kinda weird at the benches.
Brett Connolly and Evgeny Kuznetsov, who earlier in the year had a fist bump mishap go viral, chucked it up at the bench.
Then more magic happened.
Connolly and Kuznetsov appear to joke with each other before the Caps center rubs his face and goes cross-eyed for some reason.
I’m going to need a zoom here.
This is very random, but I love it.
Meanwhile over at the Blues bench, one of their players hopped near the red line.
I have a feeling today’s game is going to be super fun.
