Christian Djoos is having quite the start to his night. The young Swedish defensemen earned his second career multi-point game within the first period against the Devils where he tallied a goal and an assist in less than 4 minutes of ice time.
Early in the first period, Djoos carried the puck through the entire offensive zone. After circling the net, the Swedish defenseman found Tom Wilson waiting in the slot.
Wilson did not hesitate and shot the puck through Devils goaltender Cory Schneider’s right side.
Soon after, Djoos started and ended a beautiful tic-tac-toe play.

Djoos dropped the puck off to Alex OVechkin who passed to Nicklas Backstrom on the left side of the net. Backstrom quickly found Djoos streaking to the front, who had an empty net to shoot at.
Ovechkin seems very excited about the youngin’s play.
Keep it going, Christian.
