Joe Thornton, who probably should have been suspended earlier this week, is both a hockey and human legend. Aside from scoring 1,407 points in 1,472 games, Thornton has an iconic scruffy beard and hates wearing clothes.
The Sharks honored those priceless Jumbo Joe qualities with its newest bobblehead.
We believe this is Joe Thornton. He is walking around downtown San Jose and doesn’t give ONE HELL.

According to Sharks PR man Ben Guerrero, the bobblehead’s shirt is removable. Thornton’s beard also features a skunk stripe.
Folks, that shirt is also REMOVABLE, just like all of Jumbo's real-life shirts… https://t.co/3WZnPuAIt9

Being gifted to Sharks fans who buy a special ticket package, the bobblehead is a tribute to a viral photo from last October. While walking around downtown Pittsburgh on a supposedly hot October day, Thornton decided to take his shirt off and take a stroll with beard buddy Brent Burns. A photo was snapped by a hockey fan driving past and later posted on Twitter.
I believe this is Brent Burns and Joe Thornton. They are walking around Pittsburgh's North Shore and don't give ONE HELL. pic.twitter.com/T7t8LiLlBy

Burns saw the tweet and replied to the original poster.
tiny creepy and shouldn't be on phone while driving BUT I respect the photo skills! 19looks like he just got off the bench! Ha

Thornton’s habit of being naked all the time is the reason why the Sharks instituted team bathrobes.
“Joe’s the reason we got bathrobes in San Jose,” Thornton’s cousin Scott Thornton told Sports Illustrated. “After a game he’d be doing interviews naked or he’d have a jock strap on, innocent things for him, so they went out and bought us official San Jose Sharks bathrobes.”
If you live in San Jose and get this ticket package, I would gladly take this bobblehead off your hands. It can become best friends with my Brent Burns bobble.
