Redskins running back Chris Thompson, Wizards head coach Scott Brooks at Caps-Pens game

A night after having Joe Flacco and Evgeny Kuznetsov in the house for the Wizards-Lakers game, two local sports figures were at Capital One Arena for the Caps-Penguins game.

Redskins running back Chris Thompson, wearing a number twenty-five Caps jersey, sat in the lower bowl with his family.

It was his first hockey game.

During the second intermission, Thompson even joined Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin in the booth to talk Redskins football.

Wizards head coach Scott Brooks was also highlighted on the jumbotron during the second period.

Update 11:30 pm: Tom Wilson and Chris Thompson exchanged jerseys after the game.
