Friday morning, the Capitals practiced at the Red Wings’ Little Caesars Arena for the first time and they had their very own cheering section.
Featuring what appears to be 20 to 30 local youth hockey players, the kids chanted and cheered for the Caps as they walked out onto the ice for their morning skate. Many of the players laughed. At one point, Brooks Orpik came over to greet the kids and asked if they wanted to cheer for one specific player.

Lars Eller walked out. They were silent. Then they figured out who he was and started cheering his name, too. He cracked up.

Orpik turns to the kids. "How about Dale?" They start chanting. (That's Burakovsky's nickname). pic.twitter.com/u0LMHhaDj7

Dale is Andre Burakovsky. The team nicknamed Young Dre Dale because of the movie Step Brothers.
