Earlier today we posted some Australian-flavored signs to welcome Nathan Walker to the Capitals during his first ever NHL game.

10/8 update: Walkers fiancee Tayla Billinghurst spoke to NHL.com about the evening, specifically pointing out how special the signs meant to them.
“So many fans had the signs that said ‘G’Day Nate,'” she said to NHL.com. “It was really cool to see. I can’t wait to jump online and see all the pictures.”
