Let’s mourn Tom Petty with the Capitals ‘Runnin’ Down a Dream’ video from the 1989-90 season

One of the biggest rock legends of all-time, Tom Petty, died Monday night at the age of 66.

The frontman of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Malibu, California. He could not be revived.

Petty sold more than 80 million records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.

Petty’s music was so legendary, the Capitals even used his song Runnin’ Down A Dream to recap their 1989-90 season. Take a look.
