Marcus Johansson scores first goal as a New Jersey Devil

Monday night, former Capital Marcus Johansson registered his first tally as a member of the New Jersey Devils. Johansson scored the first goal in what turned out to be a wild five-goal first period for the Devils.

No, this doesn’t make me want to sob at all.

After a bad turnover by the Senators in the corner, Johansson set up shop in the slot and rocketed a one-timer to the back of the net.

He was thrilled. Look how happy he is to be on the last place Devils.

The Devils won the Kraft Hockeyville game 8-1. It was held at the O’Leary Community Sports Centre on Prince Edward Island. Johansson tallied one goal and three assists on the night.

That’s cool and all, but please don’t ever do this against the Capitals, Mojo.
