The KHL can be super fun sometimes and here’s another example.
Severstal Cherepovets goaltender Julius Hudacek gave fans one of his signature Hudashows Tuesday. The Slovakian netminder pumped up the crowd, conversed with a mascot, and balanced his stick on his face before tossing it ten rows into the crowd as a souvenir.

Let’s review the crucial steps to a good Hudashow..
Step 1: Pump up the crowd.
Step 2: Balance knob of stick on face.
Step 3: Do some goalie tumbling on the ice. Profit.
Hudacek made these signature Hudashows famous during his time with Orebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League. The shows normally consist of comedic and acrobatic on-ice performances after victories.
If this ever happened in the NHL, I’m guessing Hudacek would be called eurotrash and chased out of the sport by Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick for not taking hockey seriously enough. But imagine how amazing it would be if Mr. Serious, Braden Holtby, started gyrating and balancing equipment on different body parts after a big win? The Capital One Arena crowd would definitely be confused, but they’d also go nuts too.
One Capital who has done something similar in the past is Evgeny Kuznetsov. The one-time Traktor Chelyabinsk forward pumped up his hometown crowd and kayaked down the ice during a victory celebration in 2010.
