The San Jose Sharks have already won best season ticket holder perk of the year. Before putting the ice back in SAP Center yesterday, the Sharks honored their season ticket holders in the coolest way.
Every season ticket holders’ name is now represented on the concrete that lays three-quarters of an inch under the ice. The names won’t be seen once the ice is painted white, but the fans will be with the team in a special way throughout the whole season.
This isn’t the first time Sharks season ticket holders were honored by use of the ice. At the end of the Sharks 2016-17 season, season ticket holders were invited to “#PaintTheTank” as a thank you for their dedicated to the organization.
