Monday, during a KHL game featuring Amur Khabarovsk and Ak Bars Kazan, defenseman Pavel Turbin scored a once-in-a-lifetime goal. With just over 11 minutes remaining in the game, Turbin took a pot shot from his own end towards the Ak Bars goal.
And… it went in.

Ak Bars goalie Emil Garipov either lost track of the puck or did not close his legs in time, letting the puck bounce through his five hole.
Oh man.
Hahaha.
The goal tied the game at 1. Despite the fluky tally costing them a late lead, Ak Bars would go on to win 2-1.
