In Cardiff, Wales, Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo’s two goals helped Real Madrid become the first soccer team in history to win back-to-back Champions League titles.
And Capitals 2013 first-round draft pick Jakub Vrana was there to see it all with his father Karel.
Jakub watched Juventus, the team he was rooting for, lose to Real Madrid 4-1 at the National Stadium of Wales.
Ronaldo became the first player ever to score in three Champions League finals. Ronaldo’s second goal gave him 600 in his career.

“Unreal,” a jealous Riley Barber commented on Vrana’s post. This despite Barber taking in some beautiful locations himself.

While in Wales, Jakub also managed to snap a photo with another 600-goal scorer, Teemu Selanne.

Selanne, who retired in 2014, won the Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007 and scored 684 career goals. He also owns the record for most goals as a rookie (76).
Before traveling to Wales, Selanne played golf at St. Andrews in Scotland.
Selanne also posted video from his club-level seats of the championship celebration.
Selanne was joined at the game by legendary Finnish footballer Jari Litmanen.
