In an Instagram video posted by Nastya Ovechkina, the Russian machine spent his Sunday at his in-laws and had a great time. That’s because he met a very good dog.

The tiny chihuahua clearly wants to be loved. The pup circles on Ovechkin’s lap before plopping down and looking up at Ovechkin’s face with heart eyes. But then it realizes it has made a giant mistake.
The dog, which appears to be smaller than Ovechkin’s hand, braces for impact as The Great Eight goes in to pet it. After a few hall of fame worthy head rubs though, the pup relaxes and realizes it has made the best decision.
What a good doggo.
