Team Sweden celebrates gold medal by having hot tub party, Gabe Landeskog keeps hockey equipment on

Sunday night in Germany, Team Sweden won their first World Championship since 2013. After posing for a team picture and skating around the ice with the IIHF trophy, Team Sweden players retreated into the locker room where their celebration took a strange turn.

While wearing their gold medals, players jumped into a yellow-lit hot tub. The Avalanche’s Gabe Landeskog (above) seemed to be the most excited out of the crew, leaving all of his gear on.

There isn’t much more to say, so I will let these photos, courtesy of Aftonbladet’s Jimmy Wixtrom, do the talking.

While Landeskog went for a swim, the rest of the team ate pizza that was delivered via a grocery cart.

The rest of Team Sweden, very drunk and shirtless, soon joined in for the hot tub party, and even though we can’t spot Nicklas Backstrom in any of the photos, we can only assume he was present and celebrating as well.

And for some bizarre reason, Henrik Lundqvist brought along his Rangers jersey.
