Please ignore this obligatory story about when a certain potential game may or may not be held, if needed

Ugh. I don’t want to write this article. I really don’t. You can pretend this article doesn’t exist if you want. Just skip it. Don’t read the rest of this article. Starting… now.

We now know that if the Caps lose Game Six on Sunday night, Game Seven would be held on Tuesday at 7:30 PM.

I feel dirty just typing that.

The press release is from the NHL, so they don’t mention a local broadcast. I’m pretty sure CSN would have it though.

From the NHL:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE / APRIL 23, 2017

START TIME SET FOR CAPITALS-MAPLE LEAFS POTENTIAL GAME 7

NEW YORK (April 23, 2017) – The National Hockey League today announced the start time for Game 7 of the First Round Series between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals, if necessary, has been set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 25, in Washington. The game would be televised on NBCSN in the U.S. In Canada, the game would be on CBC and TVA Sports.

The specter of #gaysev looms.
