The five-time all-star and four-time gold-glove winner is on the Caps bandwagon and did not mince his words.
“Caps, handle the Leafs,” Jones said. “We’re up here in Toronto tonight. I’m going to get worn out tonight so wear out them Leafs.”
Jones then swung his bat, imitating the motion of shooting a puck.
“SLAPSHOT!”
Earlier in his career, Jones shared a Sports Illustrated cover with Alex Ovechkin.
Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph is also rooting for the Capitals… to a point.

Meanwhile Buck Showalter also threw on a Caps shirt while sitting in his office.
All of the area’s major sports teams threw support behind the Capitals today on social media.
