Washington recorded the second-most wins and third-most points (118) in a season in franchise history. In addition, the Capitals set franchise records in home wins (32) and regulation and overtime wins (53) this season. P.S. – The series probably would’ve started on Wednesday, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers are playing at Verizon Center that night.
