#RMNBAfterDark returns to your twitter timelines and your sleep cycle tonight as the Caps take their road trip to Arizona.
The main storyline coming out of tonight will be the return of Shane Doan to the Coyotes lineup. Doan has been out for seven games after suffering a groin injury. Also back in the Coyotes lineup is left winger Jamie McGinn after he needed to leave town for a death in the family. The Caps current storyline? They tryna get that Presidents Trophy.
Puck drop is at 10 PM on CSN. Start your coffee machines, take your naps, do whatever you need to stay up with us.

Winnik – Beagle – Wilson
Alzner – Carlson
Orlov – Niskanen
Orpik – Shattenkirk

So great to see the Golden Knights getting a chance to bond over a longstanding tradition!
All of the Golden Knights recently joined in on the NHL tradition of playing some pregame soccer. 😂 pic.twitter.com/0AhDXhmMPg

Podcasts
It’s Friday and this week has been dragging on for what feels like a century. One way I am able to pass time is listening to podcasts and I’m now to the point where I actually find them to be occasionally more calming than music. I’m always in need to download more so you need to give me your top ones while I give you mine (omitting the RMNB podcast because of course that is everyone’s #1):
- The Hockey PDOCast: Analytics hockey kids, this one is for you. I still find numbers tricky and I enjoy it.
- The Last Podcast on the Left: A horror comedy podcast. Three comedians in Brooklyn go conspiracy theories, serial killers, cults, you name it. It’s incredible (shout out to my girl Linds D. for passing this one along to me after we fought about Jonbenet Ramsey on twitter).
- Brunch: Pete Blackburn and DJ Bean talk about literally everything. They talk sports, movies, music, and Miles Teller.
- Pardon My Take: Warning to you all, this is a Barstool Sports podcast. I am not the biggest barstool fan, but this is my all-time favorite podcast. Big Cat, PFTCommenter, and producer Hank lead this parody of what a “guys sports show” is supposed to be. It is absolutely hysterical with segments like “Stay Classy”, “Football Guy of the Week”, “Just Chill Out Man”, and “Respect the Biz.”
- Steve Dangle Podcast: Mainly a Maple Leafs podcast, but these are guys that enjoy all of hockey (and some other fun stuff like PokeMon, wrestling, and listening to Mike Francesa being crazy). Very Canadian, very good.
- BONUS pod: Dear Sugar: An advice podcast (kinda like Dear Amy) from Cheryl Strayed and Steve Almond. Basically a “i’m trying to get my life together so I listen to this” podcast. It’s great advice for people with all sorts of questions and problems.
