Thursday night, new Capitals defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk made his Verizon Center debut. Early in the first period, Caps PA Announcer Wes Johnson announced Shattenkirk to the crowd.
Shatty waved back after receiving a loud roar from the crowd.
CSN Mid-Atlantic cameras then found a Caps fan holding up a very special sign.
The sign reads “I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22,” a play off Taylor Swift’s hit single “22.”
The only way this could have been better is if the fan was wearing our new @shattdeuces shirt.
