Thursday, TJ Oshie missed practice and the Caps game against New Jersey, returning home to tend to a “family matter.” We later learned that it was because the couple’s oldest daughter, two-year-old Lyla, had to go to the hospital.
Well I have some good news. After a several day stay, Lyla and the Oshies returned home. Lauren celebrated by taking this ridiculously adorable photo of Lyla and baby Leni. Their shirts say, “Fries before guys.”
Taylor Winnik and Lauren corresponded in the comments of her Instagram post.
“So glad to see lyla at home 😍,” Winnik wrote.
“We are too,” Oshie said. “Poor girl had a long few days. Hope you guys are enjoying yourselves!! 😘😘”
