As the Caps battled the Habs Saturday night, there was a fight-filled, penalty bonanza in AHL Bridgeport. A total of 108 penalty minutes and six fighting majors were racked up by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the Syracuse Crunch in the second period alone.
The most interesting bout of the bunch was between the Crunch’s Kristers Gudļevskis and the Sound Tiger’s Stephon Williams. That’s because those are the two netminders for their respective teams.
Here’s the fight.

I see about one punch and one long, very angry hug.
