Friday, Beats By Dre released their latest promotional campaign entitled Be Heard. The commercial promotes the company’s Solo3 Wireless headphones and features some of the world’s greatest athletes including LeBron James, Serena Williams, Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, Michael Phelps, and Conor McGregor.
Oh yeah, Alex Ovechkin made a cameo in it too – sorta.
At the 48 second mark, a digi version of Ovechkin is shown for nine-tenths of a second. Digi Ovi is celebrating a goal.
This works because Human Ovi is a huge gamer. He also recently signed an endorsement deal with Plarium to rep Throne: Kingdom At War.
Ovechkin first released the commercial on his Twitter account.

Ovechkin’s relationship with Beats By Dre dates back several years. Oveckhin was featured in his very own commercial for the company entitled Never Break (which makes me wish I had more hands to give that four thumbs up). He also wore Powerbeats2 wireless earbuds during the 2015 Winter Classic warmups, becoming the first hockey player ever to do so. Ovechkin also gave every member of the Russian National Team a pair of headphones during the World Cup of Hockey.
Thanks to Beats By Dre, here are the rest of the athletes in its commercial.
From the locker room to the stands, Beats inspires the world’s greatest athletes and fans. It’s time to make a statement. How will you BE HEARD?
Featuring the iconic sports anthem “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes and a roster of the world’s best, including Cam Newton, Lebron James, Serena Williams, Owen Farrell, Tom Brady, Kevin DeBruyne, Kevin Durant, Anthony Joshua, Simone Biles, Nigel Sylvester, Conor McGregor, Antoine Griezmann, Thierry Henry, Leticia Bufoni, César Azpilicueta, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Alexander Ovechkin, Michael Phelps, Chelsea FC, and FC Bayern.
Russian Machine Never Breaks is not associated with the Washington Capitals; Monumental Sports, the NHL, or its properties. Not even a little bit.
