You know that feeling you get when the Caps are leading by only one goal with less than a minute to go in the game? The way every muscle in your body just seizes up and you kinda start to go color blind and all you really want is generous pour of rosé and a nice massage?
One Verizon Center usher got half of that dream relaxation package near the end of the Caps’ 1-0 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Friday night, when CSN cameras captured her enjoying a vigorous shoulder rub from a fan.
As the CSN feed cut to Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill and his team preparing for a late-game penalty kill, we also got a glimpse of what was going on directly behind the Detroit bench.
That’s no obligatory half-hearted shoulder rub. He’s really going for it, and good for him. Those ushers take good care of us and they too often get treated poorly. She definitely deserves that massage.
