Continuing coverage of Tom Wilson slashing TJ Oshie in the buttocks

Tom Wilson and TJ Oshie have a strange pregame routine they perform before every game. Wilson will slam or tap his stick into Oshie’s gluteus maximus. According to Dan Steinberg, the force of the slash is determined by how the team played previously.

Thanks to two dedicated Caps fans, we now have two more videos of the tradition being carried out.

Saturday, November 12 against the Carolina Hurricanes

Wilson, appearing to go for powerful forehand whack, fakes Oshie out and instead goes for a soft backhand poke. (Video via @inColdPlacesDC)

Tuesday, November 8 against the San Jose Sharks
