Beginning tonight, Capitals alumnus Peter Bondra will be coaching the Pavlikovsky Hockey School program at the Zayed Sports Ice Rink in Abu Dhabi. Bondra told the Washington Capitals, “I’m excited to help grow the game in the UAE and use my experience to teach young hockey players in the region. The opportunities to host these types of clinics around the globe will promote the growth of hockey and the Capitals brand.”
This is so cool, but the coolest part of Bondra’s trip to the UAE? Discovering this awesome moment from a young girl on the UAE women’s national team. The video has gone viral on Twitter with about 750 retweets and 1.2K likes. Bondra even remarked, “it’s safe to say she has better hands than me!”
This is Fatima. She represents the UAE on their women’s national team & it’s safe to say she has better hands than me! @Capitals @MSE @NHL pic.twitter.com/m4N2IddeRl

Seriously, so cool, and we wouldn’t mind if she came here to give our guys a few pointers or if she just suited up and joined the squad.
Other photos from Bondra’s trip surfaced as well, including photos of a meeting with the Executive Director of the UAE Ice Hockey Club and board members of the UAE Ice Sports Federation.
