Jason Chimera scores in first preseason game with the New York Islanders

Former Capitals forward Jason Chimera scored in his first game with the New York Islanders. And it came against the New York Rangers. Of course.

Hanging out near the net, Chimera chipped a loose puck past Rangers goaltender Magnus Hellberg.

The Ice Cheetah spent his first game skating on a line with Stephen Gionta and Mitch Fritz.

He also high fived all his new teammates before heading onto the ice.
