Alex Ovechkin had himself a heck of a game Sunday. The Russian machine distributed a bunch of big hits to Swedish players and almost single-handedly sent the game to overtime during his final shift.
After the game, Ovechkin met with one of his fans: Grandma Pavelski!

Granny P’s grandson Joe Pavelski wears number eight and he captains Team USA. Ovi seemed amused by the whole thing.
Grandma Pavelski’s Twitter account is worth a follow if you don’t already follow her.

She even calls Joe’s grandfather, Grandpapavs.
