Former Capital Troy Brouwer participates in the Calgary Pride Parade

Former Washington Capitals forward Troy Brouwer marched in the annual Calgary Pride Parade, Sunday. Brouwer, who proudly held up a rainbow flag during the march, was one of several Calgary Flames to participate, including Jordan Sigalet, Matt Stajan, and mascot Harvey The Hound.

The Flames organization is a huge supporter of the You Can Play project, which is dedicated to the eradication of homophobia in sports.

Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby rocked the rainbow and marched in the Capital Pride Parade earlier this summer.
